About ChargeVoltHub

ChargeVoltHub is a free set of EV charging calculators: charging cost and time, cost per mile, EV against gas, total cost, efficiency and range, charger wiring and panel load, and a plug types chart. Each page does one job and works straight away: there is no account and nothing to install.

How it works

• Everything runs in your browser. What you type or choose stays on your device; nothing is uploaded.
• Results are computed, not typed in. The worked examples on each page are produced by the same code the calculator runs, and the code is tested against hand calculations and published definitions such as the EPA’s 33.7 kWh per gallon for MPGe.
• Every result shows its working. Each calculator lists the formula and the steps with your numbers, and the result can be printed or saved as a PDF with the inputs and the date.
• No built-in prices or car database. Prices, efficiencies and losses are fields with example values for you to replace.
• Third-party material used on the site is listed on the credits page.

The site is free to use. We may show advertising in future to pay for hosting and development. If we do, ads will be labelled “Advertisement”, will never cover a tool, and are described in the privacy policy.
